Lacey United Methodist Church

About this church

Lacey United Methodist Church in Forked River worships Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and offers an online option. Children and youth in kindergarten through twelfth grade begin with the congregation, then leave for Sunday School after the Young Disciples’ Message. The church combines Methodist worship and Christian education with extensive practical service in the Lacey community.

A free hot lunch is served every Tuesday and Thursday at noon, followed by the Hope Chest Food Pantry from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; advance registration is not required for the pantry. The congregation also partners in transitional housing for veterans and hosts recovery and community programs. A first-time Sunday family should arrive before 9:00 and ask where children reconnect with their class after the message. People seeking food assistance should verify holiday closures even though the standing schedule is published. Sunday School registration material on the site includes older forms, so families should request the current process rather than relying on an archived school-year document.
