Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

About this church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod congregation serving Franklin Township from its Amwell Road campus. Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 10:00 a.m. and is shared online through livestream and Facebook, with a bulletin available from the church website. The congregation's worship reflects its Lutheran identity through Scripture, preaching, prayer, hymns, and the sacraments.

Holy Trinity practices a confessional approach to Communion and asks first-time guests, or Christians from a different church confession, to speak with the pastor before receiving; anyone may instead come forward for a blessing. Beyond worship, the congregation supports pastoral care, Rutgers-area campus ministry, and the oldest community garden in Franklin Township, connecting parish life with service in the surrounding area. Visitors can navigate to 1640 Amwell Road and review the current bulletin before arriving to understand that Sunday's liturgy and announcements. Holiday worship and special events may follow a different schedule, so the official homepage remains the best source for the date of a planned visit.
