United Presbyterian Church

About this church

United Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, called to celebrate and share God’s love with grace and joy. It describes its identity through open doors, diverse worship, innovative education, creative mission, and dynamic service. Intergenerational worship is a deliberate spiritual discipline rather than a slogan: on first Sundays, children and youth become visible co-ministers in an all-ages Communion service designed to include non-readers, movement, and sensory participation. Other formation includes Children’s Church, youth group, Vacation Bible School, and adult Bible study. The building also hosts recovery groups, Scouts, and other congregations, extending its open-door role beyond members.

Sunday worship begins at 11:00 a.m. The first Sunday of each month includes Communion and the congregation’s Kids First emphasis. Services and sermons are also shared through Facebook and YouTube, although an older worship-video page contains historical reopening language; the homepage and mission page provide the current 11:00 schedule. The church is located at 12 Yardville Hamilton Square Road. Mission partners address weekend hunger among students, homelessness in Trenton, prison ministry, and support for older adults and people with disabilities. Visitors can expect a smaller Reformed congregation where children remain part of the common worshiping body and community partnerships are a central expression of faith.
