Jackson Church

About this church

Jackson Church is a family-focused congregation that has served Jackson and nearby New Jersey communities for more than thirty years. Its ministries extend from Sunday worship into preschool, Bible studies, performing arts, youth activities, special-needs fellowship, and a food pantry. The official site presents these programs as different ways to grow in Christian faith rather than treating the church as a Sunday-only gathering.

In-person and online worship begins Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The contemporary hour normally includes band-led music, prayer, Scripture, and a sermon, with words displayed on screens, and lasts about an hour. During fall, winter, and spring, Sunday School for nursery-age children through eighth grade meets during worship; children may also remain with their families. Coffee and doughnuts are available before and after the service, and the modern building is accessible. Adult study is listed Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The homepage separately publishes a Wednesday 5:00 p.m. gathering, so visitors should confirm which current program that earlier hour represents. Youth activities occur periodically rather than at a fixed weekly time. Jackson Arts Ministry offers plays, musicals, and classes on changing schedules, while DeBows Food Pantry provides a direct local-service connection.
