Freedom Church

About this church

Freedom Church’s South Jersey location meets Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. at 113 North Centre Street in Merchantville. The church also has a Center City Philadelphia location with different times, so visitors should use the South Jersey schedule for this directory profile. Freedom’s organizing language is “Jesus. Family. Mission.,” and its stated purpose is leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Past sermons on YouTube provide a preview of worship and teaching.

Freedom Kids serves children from six months through fifth grade in a creative, age-appropriate environment. Check-in opens fifteen minutes before each service and closes thirty minutes after it begins; new families may pre-register and request a guided tour. Volunteers are background-checked, children are escorted into restricted classroom areas, and parents need the generated barcode tag at pickup. Middle- and high-school students meet every week during the 9:00 service for pizza, games, teaching, and small groups. College students from campuses across Philadelphia also participate in Sunday worship and campus Bible studies. These specific schedules and security steps make the Merchantville location easier for a family or student to assess before arriving.
