First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church of Moorestown gathers for worship on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., both at its West Main Street building and online. The livestream is available without requiring a Facebook account, and an archive lets prospective visitors sample previous services. With more than 180 years of local history, the congregation presents itself as a long-established church still attentive to the life of present-day Moorestown. A minister for children and youth supports the church's work with younger generations, while the staff page gives newcomers a clear point of contact before attending.

The church explicitly describes diversity and inclusion as part of its community life. Its Qmunity ministry welcomes LGBTQIA+ people and allies and has participated in Pride-related events, a meaningful distinction for visitors looking for an affirming Baptist congregation. Mission and outreach work connects the church to needs beyond Sunday worship, and its central Moorestown location is served by public transportation. Together, the livestream, historic setting, inclusive ministry, and single morning service create a profile quite different from a large multi-service campus. Families or transit riders should contact the church for the latest children's schedule and route guidance, since those practical details may vary by week.
