NextGen Church

About this church

NextGen Church in West Windsor gathers Sunday at 11 a.m. for an in-person, family-friendly service combining music, visuals, prayer, and a message from Scripture. Recent services are also available on YouTube. Children from prekindergarten through sixth grade meet during the worship hour in NextGen Children's Church. Youth gather Sunday afternoon for discussion, food, friendship, and service-oriented activities. Adults seeking a midweek learning rhythm can join the Thursday 8:30 p.m. Bible study, with additional men's, women's, and small-group conversations available.

Founded in 2008, NextGen describes itself as a multiethnic and multicultural “mosaic community” united in Jesus and committed to loving neighbors and building up the next generation. It joined American Baptist Churches of New Jersey in 2009. The congregation's outreach has included a school in Nigeria, a jointly planted Spanish-speaking church, Sunday worship at a care center, and partnerships in New Jersey, other parts of the United States, Africa, and South America. On the first and third Wednesday, Dinner Church meets at First Baptist Church in Trenton around a meal, Scripture, and conversation, with volunteers helping prepare food or groceries. The 11 a.m. service is the clearest first visit, while Dinner Church offers a community-centered introduction away from the main West Windsor campus.
