St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church

About this church

St. Helen is a Roman Catholic parish in Westfield organized around the mission of worshiping God, serving others, and making disciples. Weekend Mass is celebrated Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., noon, and 6:00 p.m.; daily Mass is offered Monday through Saturday at 9:00 a.m. The parish also livestreams worship, giving prospective visitors a way to become familiar with the community before attending at 1600 Rahway Avenue.

Hospitality volunteers welcome newcomers, while family support during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass includes Kids Corner for children ages two through kindergarten and Children's Liturgy of the Word for grades one through four. Faith formation continues through grade ten, with separate high-school youth ministry, adult discipleship, and the Ageless community for older adults. St. Helen's service ministries include Helping Hands & Hearts and practical congregational care such as transportation, visits, and meals. Because ministry calendars and sacramental schedules can vary, first-time guests should consult the parish's current online calendar when planning a visit.
