Fairview United Methodist Church

About this church

Fairview United Methodist Church worships at 10:30 a.m. Sundays in Binghamton, with a livestream for people joining from home. The service includes prayer, music, Scripture, preaching, and often a children's message. The congregation describes itself as a warm church family and explicitly welcomes people across differences of age, race, ethnicity, gender, family structure, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, economic background, politics, and faith history.

Children may remain in the sanctuary, use activity bags, or move with a caregiver to the narthex, where speakers carry the service. A nursery room is also available down the hall. Music, Sunday School, Java & Jesus, service and outreach, and United Methodist connections offer ways to move beyond a first visit. The church's own pages differ slightly on the street number, showing 252 Robinson Street on the homepage while the directory record lists 254; visitors should follow the official map or contact the church if navigation is uncertain. Arriving a few minutes early helps families find the nursery and children's materials.
