Briarcliff Congregational Church Parish House

About this church

Briarcliff Congregational Church holds Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m., with a live broadcast beginning at 10:05. Street parking is available in front of 30 South State Road, and the church lot is directly across the street at 25 South State Road. Greeters provide a bulletin, and the service usually lasts about an hour. Children receive a message with the pastor roughly fifteen minutes into worship before trusted teachers escort them across the street for age-appropriate Sunday School. Fellowship afterward is in Beebe Hall, also across the street.

On the first Sunday of each month, the congregation celebrates open Communion with bread and juice; membership and age do not restrict participation. Music is a prominent part of church life through the Chancel Choir, instrumental ensembles, guest musicians, children’s performances, and public concerts. Adult education changes with current events and congregational interests, while the Women’s Society organizes community projects, a long-running rummage sale, seasonal crafts, book sharing, and Valentine treat bags for neighbors. Briarcliff presents itself as an Open and Affirming church, and its practical welcome extends from the parking map and service guide to wheelchair accessibility and a worship pattern that makes space for children, music, learning, and conversation.
