Edison Street Community Church

About this church

Edison Street Community Church is a Buffalo congregation whose doctrine emphasizes Scripture, salvation by grace through faith, believer’s baptism by immersion, the Holy Spirit’s power for service, prayer, and expressive praise. Ministries include youth, music, Good Measure outreach, children’s choir, adult and youth Bible study, an Agape Cafe, and a food pantry. The church also offers transportation to Sunday worship and Tuesday Bible study when requested at least twenty-four hours in advance, a practical service for neighbors who might otherwise be unable to attend.

The official calendar lists adult and youth Bible study Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Children’s choir rehearsal appears as a Wednesday all-day calendar entry with instructions to contact the coordinator for details, so no rehearsal hour should be inferred. The current accessible first-party pages invite people to Sunday worship but do not publish a dependable start time; visitors should call the church before traveling or requesting transportation. This gap is important because the transportation ministry requires advance notice. Food pantry and Agape Cafe events appear on recurring calendar dates, but their pages do not establish a universal public hour. Prospective guests can confidently use Tuesday’s study time while confirming Sunday worship and assistance programs directly.
