First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston

About this church

First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston is an affirming Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation founded in 1817. Traditional Protestant worship, children and family ministry, deacon care, community use of the building, and service across Lewiston and Niagara County continue its two-century history. The congregation worships in a historic Old Stone Church during spring and fall and a newer air-conditioned sanctuary in summer.

Sunday worship begins at 11:15 a.m., lasts about one hour, and streams live only while the service is underway. Parking is available behind the church, with accessible spaces in front. Children age four and older can attend Sunday School during worship, while nursery care is available for younger children. Through August 30, the summer children’s hour is a sports-themed Vacation Bible School series called “Ready, Set, Go!” after Children’s Time; families visiting later should expect the ordinary Sunday School format instead. The selected pages invite children into age-appropriate learning but do not require them to leave worship. Guests can arrive shortly before 11:15, choose front parking for accessibility, and confirm which sanctuary is in use if navigating the historic campus for the first time.
