Word of Life Ministries

About this church

Word of Life Ministries begins Sundays with prayer from 10 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the morning service at 10:30. The service can also be watched live on Facebook. Wednesday Family Night and Bible study meet at 7 p.m. In addition, Rise and Pray connects by telephone Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6 to 6:30 a.m.; the church publishes the dial-in number and access code on its prayer page. Prayer ministry emphasizes both individual and congregational prayer and intercession for churches, leaders, families, neighborhoods, and people seeking faith.

The Niagara Falls congregation began with 20 people in a pastor's home in September 1988 and held its first service at the Hyde Park Boulevard building that Christmas. Its official history records later growth in children's church, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, youth and adult choirs, men's and women's fellowship, outreach, addiction recovery, and family programming. A food pantry at the church operates Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., serving eligible households under FeedMore WNY guidelines and considering emergency requests when someone lacks daily food. The current site does not describe the music or service length, confirm present Sunday programs for children, explain nursery registration, or offer arrival guidance on parking and step-free access. It also leaves attire, Communion practice, hearing assistance, and the Wednesday Facebook-broadcast pattern unspecified.
