Riverhead's only Latter-day Saint meetinghouse sits at 959 Middle Rd, roughly nineteen miles from the nearest other building in Port Jefferson Station. Two congregations share the space: the Spanish-speaking Peconic Branch meets at 9 a.m., and Riverhead Ward follows in English at 12 p.m., with the building open from 9 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.

A visitor looking specifically for a Spanish-language service will find it in the earlier Peconic Branch meeting. Both sacrament meetings run about an hour, built around hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, followed by a second hour of classes for children and adults. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints asks nothing of attendees and takes no collection during the service. Accessible parking, entrance, restroom, and seating are all built into the property.
