St. Andrew's Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Smithtown celebrates Sunday worship with Holy Communion at 10:00 a.m. The congregation emphasizes confidence in God’s grace and welcomes people with their questions and complexities. Worship, choir, hospitality, study, and mission connect the weekly sacramental service with a wider life of learning and practical care.

Programs serve preschoolers, elementary children, middle- and high-school youth, women, adults, and families through Sunday School, nursery school, confirmation, camp, and study. Service opportunities include preparing sandwiches for people who are hungry, collecting socks for people experiencing homelessness, and helping at the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry. A first-time household should arrive before 10:00 for Communion and children’s directions, then ask about the age group relevant to the family. Musicians and volunteers can review choir and hospitality opportunities. Seasonal camps, classes, and mission projects follow their own calendars, so those details should be confirmed before attending.
