First Trinity Lutheran Church

About this church

First Trinity Lutheran Church in Tonawanda, New York, is part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and offers three weekend worship services. A traditional service meets Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 8:45 a.m., and a contemporary service follows on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. Sunday services are streamed live on YouTube for those who prefer to worship from home. An Education Hour at 10 a.m. each Sunday offers classes for ages three and up, and one adult class is also available on Zoom.

Children take part in worship, with a short message for them during the service and a quiet room where families can see and hear while children play. Sunday School serves preschool and kindergarten children in the preschool building and first through fifth graders in a program called FT Kids, and Vacation Bible School runs each summer. The church also has a preschool, a student ministry for grades six through twelve, a music conservatory, a prayer wall, a Life Ministry, and a comfort dog ministry. Members can apply for small ministry grants to start community service projects, and a new member class is offered. The church is located on Niagara Falls Boulevard; confirm service times on the website before visiting.
