About this church
Christ Apostolic Church Long Island is part of a Pentecostal network with congregations in Long Island, New York City, and Plainfield, New Jersey. The church describes a culturally diverse community of disciples, servants, families, and worshipers empowered by the Holy Spirit. Its Nigerian-rooted tradition emphasizes Scripture, prayer, fasting, divine healing, prophecy, Spirit baptism, hymns, anthems, choruses, evangelism, fellowship, and practical Christian living.
The network homepage advertises Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. in person and on Zoom, but it does not identify which branch hosts that service; Long Island visitors should confirm the local hour before traveling. The same site lists a weekday prayer conference Monday through Friday 6:00–6:30 a.m. and Sunday 9:00–10:00 p.m. Youth ministry serves grades six through twelve: teenagers begin worship with parents, junior-high students leave during the message, and high-school students remain in the main service. Children in grades one through eight similarly stay through music before being escorted to Sunday School. The church says volunteers are vetted, staff are longtime members, parents can be contacted during worship, and pickup is controlled after service. Public pages do not give branch-specific dress, parking, accessibility, nursery ages, check-in steps, service length, Communion practice, or livestream delay.
