St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church

About this church

St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church in Vestal begins Saturday Eucharist at 4 p.m. and Sunday Eucharist at 10:15 a.m., with Mass Tuesday through Thursday at 9. Weekend liturgies and special services are livestreamed. Reconciliation is offered in the church sacristy at 3 p.m. Saturday. The building has wheelchair-accessible entrances to the church, social hall, and education center, reserved pews, and fully accessible restrooms—specific planning details that can make a first visit considerably easier.

The parish describes Sunday Eucharist as the weekly meal that strengthens disciples to become Christ's presence in the world. Its Vestal story began with Mass in a vacant shopping-plaza store on June 6, 1965, followed by construction, religious education for children, and new parish organizations. Current liturgical ministries include altar servers, Communion ministers, lectors, music, hospitality, and behind-the-scenes preparation, with training provided for participants. The merged parish also preserves sacred furnishings and memories from Blessed Sacrament. Visitors seeking an accessible Catholic community can start with the Sunday Mass, while those interested in serving can use the detailed ministry directory to identify a role before contacting the parish.
