Calvary Baptist Church

About this church

Calvary Baptist Church in White Plains holds Sunday School from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. and morning worship from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Bible study and fellowship begin at 7:30 p.m., while additional ministry meetings are commonly scheduled Tuesday through Friday evenings. Baby Blessings take place at noon on the first Saturday and during morning worship on fourth Sundays. Because the main service is published as a two-hour window, visitors should plan a longer morning than a typical one-hour gathering.

The historically Black Baptist congregation describes its purpose as enhancing the quality of community life and invites people into worship, discipleship, youth ministry, missions, and neighborhood outreach. Music has a visible role in the church's story, including services that tell its history through song. The mission program connects congregational life with needs beyond White Plains, while youth ministry supports the next generation. A first visit can begin with either the extended education block or the 11:00 worship service alone. The event page provides the most reliable date-specific confirmation for each Sunday.
