Bethesda Presbyterian Church

About this church

Bethesda Presbyterian Church is an Aberdeen congregation in the Reformed tradition, seeking to glorify God through the gospel, love, faith, prayer, and service. Its roots include a log church built around 1788 and a school founded in 1801. Worship, learning, music, fellowship, food assistance, pastoral care, children, youth, and service continue that long local presence.

Sunday begins with a fellowship breakfast at 9:15 a.m., Sunday School for all ages at 10:00, and worship at 11:00. The service moves through praise, confession, Word, and response, with traditional and contemporary hymns. Children receive a message, then ages three through second grade may attend Children’s Church or remain with family. Nursery care for infants and toddlers is provided from 9:45 through the end of worship. Youth in grades six through twelve meet Sunday 5:00–7:00 p.m. Dress ranges from Sunday best to jeans. Parking is available near the sanctuary and behind the Fellowship Hall, with accessible spaces near entrances, a covered drop-off, and wheelchairs available. The Bethesda Food Pantry distributes groceries Wednesday 9:00–11:00 a.m. Public pages do not state worship length, child check-in or pickup, volunteer screening, Communion frequency or eligibility, or livestream timing, although the homepage links to the current recorded service.
