Boonville Baptist Church

About this church

Boonville Baptist Church gathers on Baptist Church Road for Sunday Bible study at 9 a.m. and worship at 10. The church summarizes its way of life as loving God, serving others, showing grace, and sharing generously, and it has spent more than 170 years providing a place of worship and witnessing to God's grace in the community. Its first Sunday School began in 1866, and successive education buildings reflect the lasting importance of Bible teaching. The current worship hour is supported by modern sound and video equipment while remaining connected to that long Baptist history.

Wednesday brings several parallel activities: Kids Club runs from 6 to 7 p.m., youth and adult Bible studies begin at 6:30, and worship choir rehearsal follows at 7:15. The youth group also meets Sunday at 9, pairing fellowship with a study of Scripture. Mission support extends to local ministries and international gospel work, continuing a congregational history that includes sending an ordained member into Southern Baptist mission service in Taiwan. The simple timetable helps families coordinate age-specific programs on the same evening. Visitors wanting the clearest introduction can attend Sunday Bible study and remain for the 10 a.m. worship service.
