Northside Baptist Church

About this church

Northside Baptist Church now presents its ministry online as Northside Fellowship, meeting Sundays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 513 Homewood Avenue in Burlington. The service uses contemporary praise and worship music followed by a Bible-based sermon, and full-service video is available on the church’s Facebook page. The one-hour format and online recordings give first-time guests a concrete sense of both timing and teaching before they arrive.

Northside’s vision is deliberately neighborhood-sized: its facilities resemble another Homewood Avenue house, reflecting a desire to serve East Burlington as both a church and community center. The congregation describes itself as a mosaic of people from different backgrounds who worship and serve together. Its local work includes a partnership with Alamance Citizens for a Drug-Free Community and access to resources for families affected by substance use. Men’s and women’s small groups are offered Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30, and a prayer service meets Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30; current study topics are posted with events. This is a useful profile for visitors seeking contemporary worship, a compact Sunday schedule, weeknight groups, and a congregation whose identity is closely tied to practical care in East Burlington.
