First Christian Church of Clemmons

About this church

First Christian Church of Clemmons meets at 6131 Frye Bridge Road. Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. with rotating teachers and in-depth Bible study, followed by worship at 10:30. The service blends contemporary Christian music and traditional hymns, includes biblical teaching, and celebrates Communion every week. Children from infancy through fifth grade have classes during both hours; on fifth Sundays, elementary children join their families for worship.

The congregation summarizes its priorities as discipleship, fellowship, and outreach under the Great Commission. Ministries include men’s and women’s gatherings, Christ-centered Celebrate Recovery on Wednesday evenings, prison ministry, and weekly Bible study and worship at a local assisted-living community. Mission partners serve in Zimbabwe and Kenya and address needs such as education, economic development, and support during unplanned pregnancy. This range gives visitors a concrete sense of the church beyond its Sunday format: it joins weekly Communion and Scripture teaching with recovery, senior care, prison service, and international partnerships. Check the events page for current Celebrate Recovery and ministry dates.
