Boger Reformed Church

About this church

Boger Reformed Church in Concord worships Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10:45 a.m.; confirm times on the church's website before visiting. The congregation belongs to the Evangelical and Reformed Synod and sums up its identity as Reformed theology, an evangelical outlook and liturgical worship, drawing on Reformation confessions such as the Heidelberg Catechism. Services follow a liturgy with congregational responses, Scripture readings, hymn singing and the recitation of a creed. The church recognizes two sacraments, baptism and Holy Communion. Communion is offered at least once a month and is served by intinction, with the bread dipped in the cup.

On the first Sunday of each month, the church collects non-perishable food donations for the Mount Pleasant Food Ministry. Each year the congregation also hosts the Lord's Acre Sale, a community event with barbecue, a craft bazaar, a yard sale tent, a bounce house for children and a Civil War soldiers' camp demonstration. Recent Sunday services are posted on the church's Facebook and YouTube pages for anyone who wants to watch before attending in person. The pastor keeps weekday office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and newcomers interested in getting involved are encouraged to reach out by phone or email. The church is located on Goldhill Road in Concord.
