Forest Hill United Methodist Church

About this church

Forest Hill United Methodist Church is a downtown Concord congregation inviting people to love God, grow in faith, and serve others. Its Sunday morning spans contemporary and traditional worship, education, children and youth, and music. Beyond worship, the church supports adult groups and service ministries, while choirs and handbells give musicians several ways to participate in the congregation’s Methodist life.

Contemporary worship begins Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Ministry Center, Sunday School for all ages meets at 10:00, and traditional worship follows at 11:00 in the main sanctuary. Nursery care for infants through age three is available during both services and the Sunday School hour, staffed by paid, background-checked caregivers. Families should ask which nursery room corresponds to their service because the location differs between 9:00 and 11:00. Youth meet Sunday afternoon from 12:15 to 2:00 p.m. The Chancel Choir leads the 11:00 service and rehearses Wednesday at 7:00, while handbells rehearse at 6:00. Visitors can choose worship style independently or make a full morning of worship and a class.
