Triumphant Church gathers from 10 until about 11:45 a.m. Sunday at 2807 Dark Circle in Durham. Parking attendants begin directing cars fifteen minutes before the service, and greeters meet people at the entrance. A usual service moves through worship, welcome and offering, announcements, a sermon, and closing prayer, while leaving room for expressive responses such as lifted hands, joyful tears, or dancing. Clothing ranges from jeans and T-shirts to suits and dresses. A 7 p.m. Tuesday Bible study is available virtually through Facebook and YouTube.

Founded in 2008 from Bibleway Church, Triumphant continues under Pastor John Russell with a mission to model God's love and favor to families, coworkers, friends, and neighbors. The church calls its discipleship identity “Champions” and aims to combine worship, Scripture, and service with holistic care. Children ages four through nine move to a dedicated center after praise and worship on Sundays. Wider Next Gen ministries add background-checked leaders, secure check-in, age-appropriate lessons for younger children, candid mentoring and service projects for grades six through twelve, and faith community for college-age adults. Counseling, prayer requests, baptism, membership orientation, illness and bereavement support, and service placement are all accessible through one ministry center. A newcomer can use the assisted parking and simple service flow, then choose a private care request or age-specific path afterward.
