Church of the Redeemer

About this church

Church of the Redeemer in Indian Trail holds Sunday School from 9:00 to 10:10 a.m. and worship at 10:30, with an online option. The Presbyterian Church in America congregation combines expository preaching, prayer, contemporary music, traditional hymns, and fellowship. Dress ranges from casual to formal. Nursery and toddler rooms serve children through age three for the full worship hour; older children begin with their families and may leave during the sermon for age-specific classes. Communion is celebrated on the final Sunday of each month.

Redeemer’s In His Image ministry provides adaptive learning and a sensory room during both Sunday School and worship, supported by trained volunteers for children and adults with disabilities. Middle- and high-school students have separate classes at 9:00 and gather together Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for teaching, small groups, games, and fellowship. The church began in 2001 and spent its early years setting up weekly in a high school before establishing its current campus. That story and the detailed disability support distinguish a congregation organized around Sundays, small groups, service, and accessible participation.
