Westminster United Methodist Church

About this church

Westminster United Methodist Church is a Kinston congregation seeking to follow Christ, share his love, and build meaningful relationships with God and one another. Sunday worship blends traditional hymns with modern spiritual songs and includes prayer, biblical teaching, and a dedicated moment for children. Online services, children’s ministry, fellowship, and small groups provide several ways to participate beyond the sanctuary.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m., ordinarily lasts about one hour, and remains available later through the WUMC LIVE YouTube channel. Children may stay with their families throughout the service. Nursery care is available for infants and younger children, while ages three through third grade may leave after the children’s moment for children’s church. First-time families can request a church buddy, and visitors may wear jeans, a T-shirt, or more formal Sunday clothing. The monthly Ladies Ministry meets on the first Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Queen Street Deli, not at the church campus. The visitor page provides a direct staff contact for children and family questions. Special services and fellowship events should be checked through the current calendar, while the worship page is the clearest source for the stable Sunday hour and online option.
