NewLife Church

About this church

NewLife Church in Locust holds Sunday morning gatherings at 8:45 and 10:15 a.m. Students in sixth through twelfth grade return Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. for a high-energy environment combining worship, games, biblical teaching, relationships, and discussion. The two morning services give adults and families a choice, while the student gathering is deliberately separate from regular worship. The church invites newcomers to use a connection card for questions, prayer, and follow-up rather than assuming they already know how to navigate the congregation.

The mission is to give people far from God an opportunity to experience new life in Christ. Its vision then moves from personal faith into home, church, and world, helping people live with purpose and make an eternal impact. Values named by the church include love, truth, worship, community, service, and generosity. Living on Target is a twelve-week discipleship study addressing balance across prayer, Bible study, family, finances, church participation, and accountability. Other groups meet weekly or every other week in homes, at church, and around town; some offer childcare, but schedules vary by group. A newcomer can choose either Sunday morning hour. Teen households can rely on the published 5 p.m. start, while adults interested in Living on Target or a LifeGroup should use the current opportunities page because those cohorts do not operate as a permanent third Sunday service.
