The Salvation Army Carteret County

About this church

The Salvation Army’s Morehead City Corps is based at 2800 Bridges Street and serves Carteret County as both a Christian congregation and a community-assistance center. The official location page lists general hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a noon-to-1:00 lunch closure. It identifies worship services and Christian education but does not publish a current Sunday hour, so prospective worshipers should call the corps rather than treating the weekday office schedule as a service time.

The Morehead City Corps combines spiritual care with a food pantry, emergency financial assistance, and disaster support. Its program overview also names activities for women, men, youth, and young adults, along with music, arts, and character-building opportunities. As part of The Salvation Army, the corps states an evangelical Christian mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs without discrimination. That dual role is essential context: someone may come to worship, volunteer, request assistance, or do more than one of those. Confirm the current worship and Sunday School schedule directly with the Bridges Street Corps before visiting for a service.
