MountainView Church

About this church

MountainView Church gathers at 169 Smith Hollow in Murphy, with in-person services Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. and an online viewing option. The congregation describes itself as gospel-driven and Christ-centered, seeking to know Jesus deeply and help people in Murphy and beyond know him. Its first-visit page addresses worship, finding the right room, children's participation, and next steps, while the homepage gives the two-service schedule most visitors need first.

Kids' Connection meets Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.; check-in begins fifteen minutes early. Its aim is to help children grow in relationship with God while equipping parents to guide faith at home. Refuge Student Ministry also gathers Wednesdays at 6:00 for middle- and high-school students, combining games and music with biblical teaching and small groups. The ministry explicitly treats parents as the primary disciplers of their children and positions church leaders as partners rather than replacements. MountainView's two Sunday choices therefore are not identical for every household: families wanting the published children's program should favor 11:00, while teenagers have a separate midweek gathering.
