About this church
Pittman Grove Baptist Church is a Raeford congregation that presents church as a place where a family can draw closer to Christ. Its mission joins biblical teaching, worship, prayer, missions, women, men, children, fellowship, and a heritage of faith. The welcome team’s practical role—helping with parking, walking guests through the building, and offering coffee—makes the first visit more concrete than a general invitation.
Sunday worship begins at 11:00 a.m. and lasts about seventy-five minutes, with music, a Bible-based message, and time for reflection or prayer. Children’s check-in opens about fifteen minutes before service for a safe, age-appropriate program. Guests should use the main entrance, where the welcome team can help with parking and rooms. Wednesday Bible study starts at 6:30 p.m. The Women’s Missionary Union and Brotherhood both meet on the first Sunday of each month immediately after the 11:00 service, combining Scripture, encouragement, relationships, and service; visitors should check the events page for exceptions. The official visit page does not publish a detailed nursery age range, so parents should ask during check-in. Coffee and a guided arrival are available without requiring registration. Sermon recordings give newcomers a way to preview teaching, while the current events page is the best source for mission projects and gatherings beyond the recurring schedule.
