Woodmont United Methodist Church

About this church

Woodmont United Methodist Church is a Reidsville congregation shaped by the Methodist goal of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Its faith overview connects grace and Christian belief with “practical divinity”—putting love into action. Worship, Bible study, community meals, partner organizations, scouting, music, and service offer several ways to participate, while a connect card gives first-time guests a route for questions and follow-up.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. in person and online, blending traditional and contemporary Christian music. Children’s Choir rehearses Sunday at 9:30 and performs twice per year. The broader music program rehearses on Wednesdays: Praise Band at 4:00 p.m., Carillon handbells at 5:45, and Chancel Choir at 6:30. Because these are participant rehearsals rather than general worship services, newcomers interested in joining should contact the music staff before arriving. The events page advises calling or emailing the office with event questions, and date-specific meals or studies should be confirmed there. Public pages do not give a standard nursery age range, children’s check-in process, accessibility guide, service duration, or dress expectation. Families can use the connect card to request those details, while online and past services provide a useful preview of the congregation’s mixed musical approach before a first Sunday at Richardson Drive.
