Fargo First United Methodist Church gathers Sundays at 10:15 a.m. in the main-level sanctuary and streams the service live at the same time. Childcare is available from newborn through age twelve, while children are also welcome to remain in worship. During the school year, Sunday School for kindergarten through fifth grade begins at 9 a.m. on the second and third floors before children rejoin their families in the sanctuary. The west-side main entrance opens from the primary lot; an elevator reaches worship, and overflow parking is available north, south, and at neighboring properties.

Youth in grades six through twelve meet Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. during the school year for games, worship songs, an age-relevant message, discussion, and friendship. Adult and community ministries include a free Dinner Church meal Wednesdays from 5 to 6, care for homebound and grieving neighbors, mission projects, and free children's clothing on first and third Tuesdays. Fargo's Methodist story began with a missionary in 1871 and the area's first Methodist Sunday School in 1872.
