Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

About this church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church gathers for liturgical worship Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Akron, with the same service available online. A current bulletin is posted for worshipers who want to follow the readings and liturgy before or during the service. The congregation connects worship with a strong arts tradition: Arts @ Holy Trinity is entering its forty-third concert season, bringing musical performances to the wider Akron community. This combination of Sunday liturgy, livestream access, and a longstanding concert series makes music more than a background element of church life.

Community ministries address several practical needs. DLM Food & Resources began as a choice-based food pantry in 2017 and now provides food, clothing, and other essentials through a family-focused nonprofit. Loads of Love offers laundry help in a setting shaped by dignity and conversation. A partnership with Rimer Community Learning Center supports students, families, and educators through donations, service, and educational opportunities. The church also administers the Ernie Liska Memorial Scholarship for people pursuing higher education. For visitors seeking a Lutheran congregation in central Akron, Holy Trinity pairs a simple one-service schedule with unusually visible commitments to arts, food security, clean clothing, schools, and scholarships.
