Vineyard Christian Fellowship

About this church

Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Bellefontaine holds Sunday worship at 9:30 and 11 a.m. The church describes a casual setting with vibrant worship and relevant Bible teaching, organized around welcoming God's presence and living out each person's calling. Children receive age-specific care and teaching: the nursery serves infants through age four, while Kids Church serves toilet-trained four-year-olds through sixth grade. Seventh- and eighth-grade students meet for Sunday School on the second, third, and fourth Sundays of the month. Only one adult should approach the children's check-in area for arrival and pickup, a practical detail intended to reduce crowding.

The congregation began meeting in 1978 as Christian Fellowship Church and adopted the Vineyard Christian Fellowship name in 2005. Its founding priorities were biblical teaching, openness to the Holy Spirit, God-directed worship, and loving community—summarized by the phrase “Where the Spirit is, There is Love.” Its present mission centers on knowing Jesus, loving him, and obeying him. Ministries and partner organizations give members ways to use spiritual and practical gifts locally and beyond the congregation, while Connect Groups, student ministries, young-adult opportunities, and adult communities offer smaller settings for relationships. Either Sunday service can introduce a guest to the church. Middle-school families should check the calendar before relying on a class, because that gathering is tied to particular Sundays rather than every week.
