King Avenue United Methodist Church offers an informal Morning Blend service at 9:00 a.m. and traditional sanctuary worship at 11:00 in Columbus. Morning Blend uses a small vocal and instrumental ensemble with folk and contemporary music; the later service features the Chancel Choir during much of the year and the church’s Buzard pipe organ. Holy Communion is offered at both services on the first Sunday, with everyone welcome at the table.

The congregation is explicitly inclusive and has extensive programming for children, teens, caregivers, adults, and nearby college students. Childcare for birth through age three runs from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., while Worship Connections gives younger children an age-appropriate portion of either service. Sunday parking is available in the church’s west and south lots and in the signed OSU Pennsylvania lot; the south lot leads to an accessible entrance and elevator. Families should note that regular children’s and youth programming pauses in June and July even though worship continues.
