Beaver United Church of Christ

About this church

Beaver United Church of Christ in Beavercreek holds its 10:30 a.m. Sunday service in the sanctuary, on Facebook and YouTube, and over 96.1 FM in the front parking lot. Closed captions are available online, weekly bulletins and Scripture references are posted, and recorded services remain viewable. Worship combines formal and informal elements, with open Communion on the first Sunday of the month. The building is wheelchair accessible, has elevators, and can provide hearing devices and sign-language support.

Founded more than two hundred years ago, Beaver describes itself as a caring community joined by love, extravagant hospitality, and respect for different spiritual paths and viewpoints. Nursery care begins after the children's moment year-round. School-year classes serve kindergarten through eighth grade, while youth and adults meet for Bible study Sunday at 9:30. Outreach includes weekly food and clothing contributions, nursing-home activities, holiday food and gift drives, and support for local and international charities. Children remain in worship during school breaks, and confirmation is offered for teenagers. This combination of access options, age-level formation, open Communion, and practical accommodations gives first-time visitors several clear ways to participate.
