Chapel United Methodist Church

About this church

Chapel United Methodist Church gathers Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at 2019 Hubbard Road in Madison. Worship takes place either in the sanctuary or in the congregation’s Chapel in the Woods, depending on weather, and streams live on YouTube for same-day or later viewing. Because the outdoor setting can change with conditions, first-time visitors can use the worship page and video channel to confirm where that week’s gathering will be held.

The congregation describes its purpose as connecting and reconnecting all people to God through Jesus Christ. Its Methodist identity is expressed through community-building and public service as well as worship. Outreach includes assembling and distributing Christmas and Easter food baskets, holding a Blue Christmas service for people carrying loss, making hygiene, cleaning, and school kits, and supporting the Madison Food Center. The church frames these ministries as being the hands, heart, and feet of Christ locally and beyond. Chapel’s profile is therefore more than a time and address: it offers a woodland worship option, online access, a grief-sensitive seasonal service, and recurring food and supply work for neighbors who want a church with visible community ties.
