New Covenant Church

About this church

New Covenant Church is a Waverly congregation of the Churches of Christ in Christian Union that welcomes longtime believers and people just beginning to explore faith. Its stated priorities bring faith, fellowship, and service together through worship, community groups, volunteer opportunities, children’s and youth formation, and local-to-global outreach. NewCov Kids emphasizes a safe, engaging environment, while the nursery serves children younger than three during every service. Community dinners and recreation add informal ways for people to form relationships beyond the sanctuary.

Sunday gatherings begin at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., with an evening service at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday programs also start at 6:00 and include men’s and women’s Bible studies, Next Steps discipleship, NewCov Kids, NewCov Youth, and nursery care. The church’s Feed the Kids meal begins at the same Wednesday hour, allowing households to arrive for food and then participate in age-specific ministries. Vacation Bible School is a special summer program rather than part of the standing weekly schedule. First-time families can use the visit page to compare Sunday and Wednesday options, and parents of infants can plan around nursery availability at either type of gathering.
