St Matthew's Catholic Church-Elk City

About this church

St. Matthew Catholic Church is located at 3001 East State Highway 66 in Elk City. Mass is celebrated Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m., with the Sunday morning Mass livestreamed. A Spanish Mass is offered Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The linked parish also celebrates Sunday Mass at 8:00 a.m. in Sayre. Elk City weekday Mass is Wednesday and Friday at 12:10 p.m.; Saturday confession runs from 3:30 to 4:30.

The parish site connects worship with Eucharistic Adoration, confession, religious education, food-bank service, and opportunities to serve as a lector or extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. Its calendar distinguishes Elk City from the Sayre mission, an important detail for anyone planning around location rather than time alone. Visitors should check current events for holy days and sacramental preparation and use the livestream when travel is not possible. This profile focuses on the Elk City church while noting the shared pastoral schedule so that the 8:00 Sayre Mass is not mistaken for a second Elk City service.
