Founded as Enid’s second Catholic parish in September 1971, St. Gregory first celebrated Eucharist in the Knights of Columbus Hall. Its permanent church was designed as a simple, warm, Southwestern space adaptable for worship and community life, then expanded in 1982 with a hall, kitchen, classrooms, and nursery. Parish pathways include OCIA, Catholic young adults, women’s Bible study, Knights of Columbus, social action, welcome ministry, and liturgical roles for readers, ushers, musicians, and Communion ministers. LifeTeen serves grades six through twelve jointly with St. Francis on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Leven Center at St. Francis, combining faith formation with service, Mass, adoration, and social events.
