Victory Center Church

About this church

Victory Center Church in Guymon worships Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday includes VC Youth for grades seven through twelve and Faith School at 7 p.m. Weekly prayer meets Wednesday at noon and Saturday at 3:30 p.m.; the third Wednesday of each month adds a focused worship-and-prayer night. Sunday children's options include classes for ages three through kindergarten and first through sixth grade, plus nursery care. Babies may remain in worship or use a nursing room with a private bathroom and video monitor.

The congregation began in 1977 after Charles and Margaret Mendenhall completed training in Tulsa and returned to Guymon with their family. Its present leadership and ministries retain a strong focus on prayer, pastoral care, relationships, and helping people identify their role in the church. Children's classes combine age-level Bible curriculum, Scripture memory, praise, and worship. The Oneeighty youth ministry addresses issues teenagers face through energetic worship and interactive activity, while men's and women's gatherings add meals, encouragement, and seasonal fellowship. The official address is 2032 South U.S. Highway 64, correcting the directory's directional ambiguity. Families can choose among several child-care arrangements during the main Sunday hour, and midweek visitors should distinguish the noon prayer gathering from the 7 p.m. youth and teaching programs.
