St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church

About this church

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church celebrates Sunday Mass at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Spanish at 711 North Country Club Road in Stillwater. Saturday offers daily Mass at 9 a.m. and the Vigil at 5. Weekday Masses are scheduled Tuesday through Friday, including Spanish Mass at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Confession is available from 5:15 to 5:45 Tuesday through Thursday and twice Saturday, while Eucharistic Adoration continues from 9 a.m. Wednesday through 5 p.m. Thursday.

Formation spans an early-childhood center for ages one through four, religious education for prekindergarten through fifth grade, youth ministry for grades six through twelve, college Catholics, young adults, and adult study. The parish describes parents as children's first educators and treats classroom formation as support for faith practiced at home. Its Stillwater history began with traveling Benedictine missionary priests; a first church building was constructed in 1899 for $645 before the parish grew through later transformations. Mother Teresa Ministry provides limited food and gas assistance, and the outreach page connects residents with additional local meal, grocery, housing, and crisis resources. Visitors can choose English or Spanish Sunday worship, use the extensive confession schedule, explore the church through a virtual tour, and match children with a formation pathway beyond Mass.
