Grace Memorial Episcopal Church celebrates Holy Eucharist Sunday at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. in northeast Portland. The early service uses Rite I; the later Rite II Eucharist includes choir, hymns, children's formation, and coffee. A Bible study meets in the chapel at 9:00, and nursery care extends from 9:00 to 11:30. Church School begins at 10:00 for the Scripture-and-sermon portion of the service, then children rejoin the congregation for Eucharist. Grace follows Episcopal Safe Church policies and welcomes children's questions, wonder, and doubt as part of faith. Thursday Eucharist is offered at 9:00 a.m.

The Coventry Choir leads the 10:00 service, while acolytes, lectors, intercessors, greeters, chalicists, and whole families share visible roles in worship. Trained parishioners offer healing prayer during Communion at the later service. Grace calls itself a parish for all people in the heart of Portland, an identity also expressed through a Sunday community dinner from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.; doors open at 4:30 and everyone is welcome. The parish's first public Communion was held in January 1909 in a canvas-and-wood tent with about twenty worshipers. Today's pattern retains historic Episcopal liturgy while surrounding it with Bible study, child inclusion, music, prayer, and a substantial weekly community meal.
