Greater Works Ministries

About this church

Greater Works Ministries is an Apostolic Pentecostal congregation in Kennett Square, formerly known as Christ Temple Church and led by Overseer C. Mark Avery. Its official homepage describes a diverse community whose celebrations are Pentecostal in style and Apostolic in message, with a mission to glorify God, build up members, and minister to the community spiritually, educationally, and practically. Worship, Bible teaching, discipleship, prayer, music, men’s and women’s ministries, multimedia, and outreach all appear in its published ministry archive.

The directory’s 553 Rosedale Road address should not be treated as a current walk-in worship location. The church’s homepage says it is presently operating through virtual services, classes, and meetings on Facebook, streaming platforms, and Zoom, and that the historic Rosedale building is to be demolished because of structural problems. A separate service page still displays a recurring 10:45 a.m. Sunday “Morning Celebration,” creating a first-party inconsistency about how that time is currently accessed. Prospective visitors should therefore contact the ministry or follow its current online announcements before planning to attend in person. This profile retains the historical address for identification while prioritizing the church’s explicit notice that its active gathering life is online.
