Harmony Baptist Church

About this church

Harmony Baptist Church begins Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 a.m. and morning worship at 10:00 in New Castle. The independent Baptist congregation presents itself as a church family serving Lawrence County, with Bible teaching, worship, and relationships organized around its stated beliefs. A staffed nursery for toddlers through preschoolers operates during the morning service, giving parents a clearly identified option for young children.

Youth group, broader youth ministries, missions, and service with the City Rescue Mission connect Sunday learning to activity beyond the worship hour. The church also supports missionaries, reflecting an outlook that includes both nearby needs and work farther away. Seasonal outdoor services provide a different setting from the usual sanctuary gathering, so the events information matters when planning a particular date. New visitors attending Sunday School should arrive before 9:00 to find the appropriate class. Families can ask about nursery procedures before 10:00, and anyone interested in the outdoor service, youth events, or mission opportunities should verify current dates on the relevant ministry page.
