St. Paul Baptist Church begins Sunday School at 8:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10 at 6701 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh. The service can also be watched on Facebook or YouTube. The church describes a multigenerational congregation whose members come from more than twenty Pittsburgh neighborhoods, with especially deep roots in Garfield, its former location. Its present building dates to 1887 and received Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation landmark designation in 1998; the congregation itself began in Lawrenceville in 1901.

Christian education aims to develop biblical literacy and practical Christian life skills through Sunday School, Bible study, a Wednesday evening service, new-member instruction, and Children's Church. During Sunday worship, Children's Church gives younger participants prayer, song, Bible teaching, crafts, and play in an age-directed service while adults remain in the main gathering. Youth programming includes first-Sunday Youth Sunday, fellowship, and scholarships. Wednesday adds noon Bible study and a 6:30 p.m. prayer meeting.
