Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church

About this church

Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church offers regular worship at 6 p.m. Saturday and at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and noon Sunday at 915 North Fifth Street. A Wednesday worship service begins at 6:30 p.m. The church says its Saturday 6 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m. gatherings are livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube, providing two online options alongside the four weekend services.

Its ministry directory spans children, teens, adults, recovery, grief support, and practical outreach. Programs include Adventure Kids, a preschool and before- and after-school care, The Landing for grades seven through twelve, small groups, Celebrate Recovery, a clothing closet, food pantry, and cold-weather homeless shelter. A Haiti partnership begun in 2013 has helped improve a church in Li Lavois with floors, secure doors and windows, and a baptistry, while also supporting a school in the church building. The congregation's Wesleyan roots connect it with a movement historically shaped by evangelism, social concern, and opposition to slavery. Someone planning a visit has unusually broad scheduling flexibility: Saturday evening avoids Sunday altogether, Sunday provides three times, and Wednesday supplies a midweek alternative. Families and people seeking recovery or material support can use the ministry listings to identify a more specific connection than the main worship service.
