About this church
Upper Nazareth Twp, Pennsylvania has one meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the directory, at 138 Rose Inn Avenue; the nearest other building is in Whitehall, about thirteen and a half miles away.
Nazareth Ward meets first, at 9 a.m., and Easton Ward takes the building later, at 10:30 a.m. Both two-hour blocks begin with sacrament meeting: hymns, prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks from members of the congregation, then classes fill the second hour, Primary included for children. A visitor gives nothing, and no offering plate is passed. Dress runs from formal to casual among those attending. The busiest stretch here falls around 11 a.m., with the building open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Since ward timing is arranged locally and can shift from year to year, a quick call before a first visit is a sensible step.
